I am a seasoned veteran rider from Boise, Idaho. I compete in the Over 30- and Over 40- age Vet Classes. I have been riding and racing for over 35 years; I love the sport of motocross and plan to do it as long as I am able. Being a part of the Project Filter program has given me the opportunity to stand in the front row in the fight for a Tobacco-Free Idaho. It is pretty hard to find who does not know a family member or friend who has not suffered through the negative effects of tobacco use. It is a privilege to represent Project Filter and help to educate the public about the resources available to help individuals quit using tobacco.
Outside of racing, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our children. My family is sports oriented, we enjoy the outdoors and love to laugh… I have enjoyed a long military career and I am currently a Chief Warrant Officer Four in the Idaho Army National Guard.
I am excited for another season! My goals are not only to win races but to win in the battle for a healthier lifestyle to be enjoyed by all. We all face our own set of challenges each day. My advice is to set your goals, focus on the commitment, dig deep and do it all with “Heart and Desire!”
Stay tobacco free everyone, and I’ll see ya’ at the races!
